Kitchen Cards operates entirely on your device without transmitting data:

No accounts: No registration, login, or email required.
No tracking: No telemetry, analytics SDKs, or device identifiers collected.
No network requests: The app does not request or require internet access.

2. Local Device Storage

All recipes, ingredients, instructions, cooking history, and custom categories are saved locally on your device in a sandboxed Room database. Data never leaves your device unless you explicitly export a JSON backup file.

3. Device Permissions

Kitchen Cards requests only the minimal permissions required for cooking utilities:

android.permission.VIBRATE — Triggers haptic feedback when a cooking countdown timer expires.
android.permission.WAKE_LOCK — Keeps your screen awake exclusively during active Cook Mode so your phone doesn't sleep while cooking.
Internet Permission: None. The app does not request android.permission.INTERNET.

4. Third-Party Services & Ads

Kitchen Cards contains zero third-party advertisements and zero tracking libraries. We do not partner with ad networks, data brokers, or analytics providers.

5. Google Play Data Safety Compliance

Data Collected: None.
Data Shared: None.
Security: Protected by standard Android app sandboxing.
Data Deletion: Removing the app permanently deletes all stored data.
